The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) says Rabiu Kwankwaso, the party’s national leader, and the people of Kano feel betrayed by Abba Yusuf, the governor, following his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Yusuf formally joined the APC on Monday after weeks of stalled efforts to defect to the ruling party.
