Can any Nigerian politician survive an election by relying strictly on social media hype?

Does the City Boy Movement’s blunt warning that "votes won't come from social media" prove that APC's real strength lies in deep, traditional grassroots machinery, or does it expose a deep-seated fear of the highly vocal, anti-government internet generation?
