Yibala Inyang

Hon. Yibala Igri Inyang is the APC-elected Executive Chairman of Yakurr LGA, Cross River State, and also serves as Chairman of the Cross River State Local Government Chairmen Forum. Since assuming office (after the 2024 elections), his administration has focused on infrastructural renovation (especially at the council secretariat), empowering youths and women with skills acquisition and equipment, and boosting revenue through reforms. He has emphasised security cooperation, especially around illegal mining and boundary disputes, and aligns with the “People First” agenda of the state government.
