Ya’u Mohammed Danda

Ya’u Mohammed Danda is Sokoto State’s Commissioner for Social & Humanitarian Affairs, appointed in August 2023. In his role, he oversees social welfare, humanitarian response, and programs supporting vulnerable populations. He has facilitated relief distribution to internally displaced persons (IDPs) and partnered with organizations like the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and Asattahir International Foundation to deliver emergency aid and shelter materials across the state.
