Werinipre Seibarugo is a Nigerian politician from Bayelsa State who served briefly as Acting Governor from 16 April to 27 May 2008. A member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he assumed the governorship following the annulment of Timipre Sylva’s election by the Court of Appeal, as per constitutional provision requiring the Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly to step in. After overseeing a secure transition, Seibarugo was succeeded by Sylva upon re-election.
