Shehu Usman Albishir (15 June 1945 – 2 July 2012) was a Nigerian senator representing Yobe North Senatorial District from 1999 to 2007. Educated in primary and secondary schools in Yobe and Maiduguri, he moved from business into politics, rising to become Senate Leader. Later, he joined PDP and contested gubernatorial primaries. Albishir died in a fatal auto crash in 2012, ending a career that spanned legislative leadership, political ambition, and business.
