Uroupaye Nimizuoa

Hon. Uroupaye Nimizuoa is the Special Adviser on Aquaculture to the Governor of Bayelsa State, appointed in September 2024 under the Diri administration. His portfolio supports Bayelsa’s blue economy and agricultural diversification, especially in promoting fish farming across Bayelsa’s Local Government Areas. He is publicly involved in stakeholder mobilization, working with agricultural officers, fishing communities, and government ministries to implement model fish farms and expand aquaculture as a source of employment and food security.
