Theophilus Daruwana Adama

Theophilus Daruwana Adama is the current Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area in Kogi State, elected in 2024 under APC. Formerly caretaker chairman, he now leads a full council and has pledged inclusive governance, increased internally‑generated revenue, and restoration of Bassa’s fortunes. Soon after his election, he inaugurated council secretariat and supervisory councillors.
