Tarimotimi Dounana

Tarimotimi “Tari” Dounana is the Auditor-General of Bayelsa State, Nigeria, since his swearing-in in June 2023 under Governor Douye Diri. A civil servant with experience in state audit or financial oversight, he was selected for the role based on merit and his prior record. Since assumption of office, he has publicly committed to accountability, transparency, and the faithful execution of his constitutional mandate to audit public accounts in the state.
