Sunday Ilesanmi Taiwo

Hon. Sunday Ilesanmi Taiwo is the elected Chairman of Ilesa East Local Government Area in Osun State. He assumed office following the February 2025 local government elections in which the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won chairmanship seats across all councils in the state. As chairman, he serves as the executive head of Ilesa East LGA, responsible for grassroots governance, local administration, and community development coordination. His leadership focuses on public service delivery at the local level and engagement with stakeholders to address community needs.
