Mrs. Rose Ezewa, from Okpe LGA, is the current Commissioner for Basic & Secondary Education in Delta State. Born in 1970, she is an experienced biology educator with an NCE, B.Sc. in Education (Biology), and a Master’s in Environmental Microbiology. Certified by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria and member of STAN, she worked up to Principal Merit Grade before entering politics. Under two administrations, she has led the education ministry overseeing secondary and basic schooling, with a focus on teacher qualification, curricula, standards, and learners’ welfare.
