Rabiu Mukhtar of the APC has been elected as the Member representing Babura/Garki Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives following the August 2025 by-election. He secured 38,449 votes, defeating PDP’s Isah Auwalu (13,519 votes) and NNPP’s Sabo Salisu (2,931 votes). This follows the vacancy created by the late Hon. Isa Dogonyaro’s passing in May 2024.
