Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat

Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat is the current Executive Chairman of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area in Lagos State, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC) and re-elected in July 2025. Known for his people-centered leadership, Hamzat’s administration prioritises infrastructure development, staff welfare, youth digital and vocational empowerment, health outreach, and community support initiatives. His HEEDS Agenda framework has guided visible progress across education, health, environment, and social welfare sectors within Ifako-Ijaiye. He also serves in executive roles within the Lagos State local government chairmen’s conference.
