Prince Gerald Chinyeremaka Oforji, JP

Hon. Prince Gerald Chinyeremaka Oforji, JP is the male lawmaker representing Oyigbo Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly. A member of the 10th Assembly inaugurated in June 2023, he now serves under the All Progressives Congress (APC) following his recent defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in late 2023 during the political realignment within the Assembly. He is the Chairman of the House Committee on Commerce and Industry, overseeing legislative work around trade, markets, industrial regulation, and business development in the state. Oyigbo LGA his constituency is a strategic locality notable for its oil-and-gas infrastructure and growing commercial activities.
