Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha (b. 22 September 1962) is a Nigerian politician, entrepreneur, and philanthropist from Imo State. Educated in Public Administration at the University of Jos, he founded a major business group and charitable foundation before entering politics. Okorocha served as Governor of Imo State from 2011 to 2019 first elected under APGA, later re-elected under APC and subsequently represented Imo West in the Senate. His tenure is remembered for infrastructure projects and free education initiatives.
