Okechukwu Okwara

Hon. Okechukwu Okwara is the Executive Chairman of Ideato South Local Government Area in Imo State, representing the All Progressives Congress. His administration has focused on grassroots empowerment, creating inclusive institutional frameworks (such as an adviser for persons with disabilities), and improving local governance in his rural-agrarian LGA. Known also locally by the nickname “Morocco”, he maintains an open-door stance and has initiated policies aimed at youth employment and staff recruitment.
