Ogbonnaya Abara Obashi

Engr. Ogbonnaya Abara Obashi is the Commissioner for Infrastructure in Ebonyi State. As part of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s cabinet, he is tasked with overseeing state infrastructure projects, including rehabilitation of long-abandoned buildings, developmental physical assets, and ensuring safety and structural integrity of key public works. Among his visible efforts is the revival of the long-abandoned 11-storey Trade Centre following expert integrity checks. He also leads inter-ministerial committees to expedite such infrastructure projects.
