Hon. Nkechi Mbonu is the Executive Chairman of Okigwe Local Government Area in Imo State, elected in the 2024 local government polls on the APC platform. As Okigwe LGA chairman she is responsible for local administration, service delivery, community sanitation, and coordinating council activities. Since inauguration, she has been publicly active in stakeholder events, sanitation drives and Children’s Day celebrations in the LGA.
