Ngozi M. Obichukwu

Dr. (Mrs.) Ngozi M. Obichukwu is the Commissioner for Aviation & Transport Technology in Ebonyi State, appointed in July 2023 under Governor Francis Nwifuru. She has led efforts to rehabilitate the Chuba Okadigbo International Airport runway, secure regulatory approvals, and commence commercial flight operations (notably in June 2025). Her portfolio includes ensuring infrastructure readiness (runway, lighting, airfield tech), staff training, and enhancing the airport’s capacity to operate safely and attract investment.
