Michael Oluwole Akande

Hon. Michael Oluwole Akande is the elected Chairman of Ife North Local Government Area in Osun State under the Peoples Democratic Party leadership in the February 2025 local government elections, in which PDP candidates won all chairmanship seats across the state. As LGA Chairman, he serves as the executive head of the third tier of government in Ife North, responsible for coordinating local governance, service delivery, and community engagement. Akande’s leadership reflects grassroots representation and party mobilization in his local council.
