Maurice Oripanye

Hon. Maurice Oripanye is the elected Chairman of Ilaje Local Government Area in Ondo State, Nigeria, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC). He assumed office following the January 18, 2025 local government elections that restored elected governance to the state’s councils. Oripanye has since overseen council initiatives including budget planning, community engagement with youth groups, and strategic collaboration with state development bodies such as the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission to expand infrastructure, welfare, and socio-economic opportunities for Ilaje communities.
