Rt. Hon. Marcus Onobun is the APC federal legislator for Esan Central/West/Igueben Constituency, elected to the 10th National Assembly in June 2023. A former Edo Assembly Speaker and Doctorate Fellow, he holds degrees in Geography and Public Administration. Known for rural development focus, constituency empowerment, and legislative oversight, he chairs the House Committee on Rural Development. He defected from PDP to APC in July 2025 citing internal party crises.
