Malachi Okey Onyechi

Hon. Malachi Okey Onyechi is the current Member representing Nsukka West in the Enugu State House of Assembly. He was initially elected under the Labour Party but crossed over to the PDP in May 2025. A founding member of the PDP in Enugu State, he cited the incumbent governor’s performance and infrastructure investments across wards as motivating factors in his return. Onyechi is known for aligning with Governor Peter Mbah’s development agenda and advocating for inclusive governance.
