Lawan Bukar Guba

Hon. Lawan Bukar Guba is the elected Chairman of Bursari Local Government Area in Yobe State, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC). His leadership has focused on community development, infrastructure advocacy, and service delivery at the grassroots. Under his administration, the local government has worked with state authorities on road and flood mitigation projects and expanded access to potable water through solar-powered borehole installations across wards. Guba also prioritises inclusive governance, youth empowerment, and dispute resolution in farming and pastoral communities.
