Bio Summary
Lawal Adamu Usman, popularly known as “Sen. LA,” is the Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 10th Nigerian Senate. He was elected in the 2023 general elections under the Labour Party (LP) and later defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as part of evolving political realignments among opposition figures in Nigeria. A seasoned public administrator and education advocate, he gained prominence after winning a highly contested senatorial race. He currently serves as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Education (Basic and Secondary) and is recognized for initiatives focused on educational reform, infrastructure development, scholarships, and constituency empowerment.
