Josephine Chundung Piyo is the current Deputy Governor of Plateau State, serving since 29 May 2023 under Governor Caleb Mutfwang on the platform of the PDP. A healthcare worker and educator by training, she served in the state House of Assembly (1999) and as Chairman of Riyom LGA. Known as a grassroots leader and advocate for women’s inclusion, she brings decades of nursing, public service, and political experience to her office.
