Engr. Jerry Ehiwario is the Commissioner for Power & Energy in Delta State, appointed in August 2023 under the Oborevwori administration. A young engineer and PDP member from Ekuku-Agbor, Ika South LGA, he holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electronics/Telecommunications from University of Benin. His prior roles include student leadership and youth mobilisation, and he served as Special Assistant on Students Affairs. As Commissioner, he has promised to “light up the entire state” and emphasises energising power infrastructure and service delivery.
