Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe is the sitting APC Senator for Cross River North. A former House of Representatives member (2015–2021), he won a court battle to reclaim the Cross River North Senate seat and was sworn in on 15 September 2021, then re-elected in 2023. He heads the Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Gas). In October 2025, he defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). He is known for community infrastructure delivery, bursaries, and legislative advocacy on gas sector reform in the Niger Delta.
