James Iliya is the Adamawa State Commissioner for Information & Strategy, having previously led the Ministry of Entrepreneurship Development. An Adamawa indigene from Demsa LGA, he trained in accountancy and economics and worked in both private industry and public education before joining the “Fresh Air” reform team. In office he has driven youth-and-women enterprise programmes and now serves as the state’s chief spokesperson, handling sensitive policy communications and media sector improvements.
