Jackson Adah Ominyi

Hon. Jackson Adah Ominyi is the APC-elected Chairman of Oju Local Government Area in Benue State, inaugurated in October 2024. Early in his tenure, he made strategic administrative appointments, and has been active in mediating communal conflicts—especially between Ukpute and Bonta communities. He has visited displaced persons, assessed damage from crisis, and called for relief support. While his educational background and prior career remain under-documented, his leadership is being defined by efforts at peacebuilding, local governance, and responsiveness to community hardship.
