Iyekor Ikporo

Iyekor Ikporo is the Chairman of Ahoada West Local Government Area in Rivers State, elected as part of the Action Peoples Party’s (APP) sweep of most council positions in the state’s 2024 local government elections. In office, he is responsible for local administration, basic infrastructure oversight, and community development within Ahoada West. Under his leadership, the council has pursued initiatives including welfare infrastructure projects such as a new NYSC accommodation lodge, reflecting an emphasis on improving facilities and services at the grassroots level.
