Isa Yuguda is a Nigerian politician, economist, and banker who served as Governor of Bauchi State from 2007 to 2015. Originally a member of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), he later defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), under which he was re-elected. Before politics, he had a distinguished career in banking, rising to Managing Director of NAL Merchant Bank. Yuguda also served as Minister of Aviation under President Olusegun Obasanjo. His governorship was marked by infrastructure development, social programs, and later controversies about debt management and state resources.
