Ibrahim Dadi Adare is the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Sokoto State, serving since August 2023 under Governor Ahmed Aliyu. A seasoned former civil servant and health systems specialist, he brings decades of administrative expertise. He holds a B.Sc. in Sociology from Usmanu Danfodiyo University and has led numerous grassroots empowerment initiatives across Sokoto’s 23 LGAs. Known as “Dallatun Gobir,” he is recognized for his commitment to community development and effective local governance.

- Started working in 1988 as Nursing Officer at General Hospital Koko and Specialist Hospital Sokoto; rose to Senior Nursing Officer at the School of Nursing & Midwifery, Sokoto; Principal Nursing Officer, Secretary General Library, Specialist Hospital Sokoto.
- Held various leadership roles in the Sokoto State civil service (1999–2021), including:
- Health & Sport Officer, Student Affairs Officer, Assistant Director and Deputy Director of Health Planning (Ministry of Health)
