Ibrahim Gobir is a Nigerian politician, engineer, and former Senate Leader. Representing Sokoto East from 2011 to 2023, he served three consecutive terms in the Senate. Prior to politics, he held executive roles in engineering and business. A senior member of the All Progressives Congress, Gobir was appointed Senate Leader in 2022. He is known for his legislative focus on infrastructure, energy, and national security, particularly in northern Nigeria.
