Bio Summary
Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye is a Nigerian lawyer and politician representing Ikorodu I Constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly under the All Progressives Congress (APC). A trained lawyer and son of the late Lagos deputy governor Alhaji Rafiu Ogunleye, he emerged in the 10th Assembly (2023–2027) to continue his family’s political legacy. Known for his legislative focus on youth empowerment, legal reform, and development projects in Ikorodu, Ogunleye is regarded as one of the young voices driving change within the Lagos political space.
Education
Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye is a trained lawyer. He studied Law at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and was called to the Nigerian Bar after completing the Nigerian Law School program.
Professional Background
Before entering politics, Ogunleye practiced law and was involved in advocacy and community-based initiatives. He is also the son of the late Alhaji Rafiu Ogunleye, a prominent Lagos politician and former deputy governor of Lagos State, which strengthened his political foundation.
