Hon. Garba Ya’u Gwarmai is a two-term APC legislator representing Tsanyawa/Kunchi in the Kano State House of Assembly. Born in Kunchi LGA in 1970, he earned an MBA from Bayero University Kano after foundational schooling across Kano State. A grassroots politician, he served in party leadership roles before his election in 2011 and re‑election in 2015. Known as an engaged constituency representative, he is also an avid reader, researcher, traveler, and sports enthusiast.
