Dr. Garba Nadama (1938–4 May 2020) was a Nigerian scholar and politician who served as the second civilian Governor of Sokoto State, from January 1982 to December 1983. Before that, he was Deputy Governor under Shehu Kangiwa. A historian by training with a Ph.D. from Ahmadu Bello University, Nadama later joined the PDP and held roles in banking and party administration. His tenure was marked by infrastructure, education, and ecological interventions despite political adversity of the era.
