Francis Arthur Nzeribe (1938–2022) was a Nigerian businessman and politician who represented Orlu Senatorial District in Imo State. Known as one of Nigeria’s most controversial political figures, he was a major player in both business and politics. He founded the Fanz Organisation in the UK, amassing wealth through international business deals. Nzeribe was elected senator in 1983 and again from 1999 to 2007 under the PDP. Infamous for his role in the 1993 Association for Better Nigeria (ABN) that sought to annul the June 12 election, he remained a powerful and polarising figure until his death.
