Enyinnaya Harcourt Abaribe is the long-serving Senator for Abia South, first elected in 2007. An economist and former deputy governor, he has held principal Senate roles including Minority Leader (2019–2022). Initially with the PDP, he joined APGA in 2022 and was re-elected under that platform in 2023.
