Engineer Ishmael Oforibika

Engineer Ishmael Oforibika, MNSE, is the Chairman of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area in Rivers State, elected on the Action Peoples Party (APP) ticket in the 2024 local government elections. His leadership emphasizes community development, infrastructure improvement, and responsive grassroots governance. During his tenure, he has inaugurated supervisors and advisers, ensured implementation of the national minimum wage for council staff, celebrated civic events, and initiated welfare projects such as market women empowerment programs.
