Donald Duke is a Nigerian lawyer, businessman, and politician who served two terms as Governor of Cross River State (1999–2007). A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University and the University of Pennsylvania, he later pursued national leadership and was the 2019 presidential candidate for the Social Democratic Party. In early 2026 he defected again, registering with the African Democratic Congress (ADC). He is known for spearheading tourism-led development strategies in Cross River.
