Daniel Offiong Ekpeyong

Daniel Offiong Ekpeyong is the Senior Special Assistant on Environment & Carbon Emission to Governor Bassey Edet Otu of Cross River State, appointed in August 2024. In his role, he is responsible for advising the Governor on environmental policy, carbon emission matters, and possibly coordinating state responses to climate change issues. Very little is publicly known about his prior career or education; his appointment reflects the state government’s growing emphasis on environmental sustainability and climate change policy implementation.
