Chief Femi Fani-Kayode is a Nigerian lawyer, poet, essayist, political commentator, and former federal minister who has remained a prominent and often controversial figure in national politics for over two decades. He has served in key government roles, including Special Assistant on Public Affairs, Minister of Culture and Tourism, and Minister of Aviation under President Olusegun Obasanjo. In 2022, he joined the presidential campaign team of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Director of New Media. In 2026, he was reported and announced as Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany (pending diplomatic confirmation and formal assumption of duty).
