Andrew Olusoga Ogunsakin

Hon. Andrew Ogunsakin is the elected Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government Area in Ondo State, Nigeria, and a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He assumed office following the January 18, 2025 local government elections that restored democratic leadership across Ondo’s councils. Ogunsakin’s administration has focused on transparent budgeting, enhanced governance structures, community safety, and administrative partnerships, including technology support for the council and strategic appointments of advisers and councillors. His leadership has also engaged in public safety measures and recovery of government assets in the local government area.
