Aliyu Sabo Zaga

Aliyu Sabo Zaga is the current Chairman of Bagudo Local Government Area in Kebbi State. As head of the local council, he oversees administration in one of the largest and agriculturally vital LGAs in the state. Bagudo — sharing borders with Niger and Benin — plays a critical role in farming, fishing, and cross-border trade. Zaga’s tenure comes at a time of environmental and economic challenges, including flooding that has affected rice farms across the LGA.
