Aliyu Lawan Buba Bamanga

Aliyu Mohammed Lawan Buba “Bamanga” serves as Borno State’s Commissioner for Transport & Logistics (Transport & Energy). A native of Gwoza LGA, he was sworn in on October 12, 2023, into Governor Zulum’s cabinet. Early in his tenure, he acknowledged the importance of his portfolio to the state’s development. Since assuming office, he has supported infrastructure innovation—such as the intra-city rail project—and public service integration across transport and energy sectors.
