Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam

Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam is the National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Nigeria. He is currently embroiled in internal controversies, including allegations of financial misconduct which led to his suspension by part of the SDP’s National Working Committee in June 2025, a move he has publicly challenged as illegitimate. Gabam insists he remains the substantive Chairman recognized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Under his leadership, the SDP positions itself as a credible alternative to Nigeria’s major parties.
