Alhaji Iliyasu Zakari

Alhaji Iliyasu Zakari is the Executive Chairman of Agwara Local Government Area in Niger State, and also chairs the Niger State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON). Serving under the All Progressives Congress (APC), his stewardship engages community outreach, intergovernmental cooperation, and advocacy for local council interests. During his tenure, he has addressed local challenges — including food distribution logistics and community safety issues — and represented LG interests in broader state‑level policy engagements.
