Alhaji Farouk Abdu Sumaila

Alhaji Farouk Abdu Sumaila serves as the Chairman of Sumaila Local Government Area in Kano State. Under his leadership, his administration has secured a ₦300 million state intervention to deliver a major water‐supply project, ending decades of water scarcity in the LGA. He has also been active in disaster relief, youth and health interventions, and promoting participatory governance through public budgeting forums.
