Akeem Olalekan Dauda

Hon. Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD) is the current Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government Area in Lagos State, elected on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform in July 2025. His administration emphasises people-centred development, education support, youth empowerment, infrastructure renewal, and environmental governance under the strategic “I.K.E.J.A. Agenda.” Known for grassroots engagement and responsive leadership, Dauda has launched key programmes in education, health outreach, urban renewal, and community partnership initiatives aimed at strengthening governance and quality of life in Nigeria’s capital local government.
